Reg Silvester has been elected as Suffolk County Councillor for Brandon following the local elections that took on 2nd May 2013. Mr Silvester, representing UKIP, topped the polls with 45.92% of the vote.

Body Found In Little Ouse River

Suffolk Police were contacted just before 4pm on Sunday by an off-duty Norfolk Police officer who had been canoeing on the river when he spotted a body partially caught under a tree on one of the banks.
