Cannabis factory found in Brandon

Police found evidence that led them to a cannabis factory in Ash Close in Brandon after the discovery of another cannabis factory in Thetford just hours earlier.

Approximately 160 plants were found in the house where police found the whole property had been converted for the purpose of growing cannabis.

Three men, two in their 30s and one in their 40s, were arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where they remain in custody.

A further arrest was made later in the day.

Posting on Twitter this evening, Sgt Marcus Wall added: "Males are still in custody, more cannabis has been found in a vehicle, and the electricity supply has been bypassed at the addresses."
