Police appeal after Barton Mills collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision at the Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills.

Police were called at 4:10pm today, Saturday 10 August, to reports of a collision on the A1065 near to the entrance to the services in Barton Mills involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a blue BMW 120D car.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50’s, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by Air Ambulance where he remains in a serious condition at this time.

The road was closed to allow an investigation into the circumstances of the collision to get underway but it has since re-opened.
