Crews tackle forest fire near Brandon

Crews from across Suffolk and Norfolk are currently battling an undergrowth fire in the forest between Brandon and Santon Downham.

The fire service was called to the incident at just after 1.20pm today and are still on scene where over 10,000sqm of undergrowth is well alight.

Appliances from Brandon, Thetford, Wickhambrook, Bury St Edmunds, Ixworth, Mildenhall and Newmarket are in attendance.
