Recent crime wave at Center Parcs Elveden Forest

Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of thefts and burglaries at Center Parcs, Elveden Forest. Anyone with any information has been asked to Suffolk Police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered for sale, any of the bikes mentioned.

 

Simon Kay, PR Manager for Center Parcs, said "The safety and security of our guests and staff is very important to Center Parcs and, whilst the number of reported incidents remains small in the context of the numbers of guests that stayed at Elveden Forest, we are taking this matter extremely seriously.

"We have been working very closely with the local police and have enhanced security across the village in line with their recommendations.

"Our advice to guests is that Center Parcs is a safe environment, however we would advocate sensible security awareness and to take the normal security precautions that that they would at home. "

3rd June 2009

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE:Between 9pm 02/06/09 and 1.30am 03/06/09 Man's Aggressor mountain bike left secure outside a villa was removed but later recovered. Around three people were heard running away from the scene.

BURGLARY: Between 11:30pm 02/06/09 and 9:30am 03/06/09 Offenders have gained entry to a secure holiday villa and stolen a sim card and black and silver iPod touch.

 

1st June 2009

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 9:30pm 31/05/09 and 8:30am 01/06/09 A boys lime green Big Daddy Rooster BMX bike left secure outside a villa was stolen.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 10pm 31/05/09 and 7am 01/06/09 A mans brown Carrera Banshee mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

BURGLARY: Between 11.30pm 31/05/09 and 7am 01/06/09 Offenders have gained entry to a holiday villa and stolen three mobile phone, a digital camera, a camcorder and a handbag. The bag was found discarded outside and a mobile phone was found discarded in Thetford.

BURGLARY: Between 1.30am and 7am 01/06/09 Offenders have gained entry to an insecure holiday villa and stolen a mobile phone, a digital camera and cash.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE: Between 1am and 7am 01/06/09 Offenders have gained entry to a white Ford Transit van parked outside a villa and stolen a digital camera and a mobile phone.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Between 3.45am and 3.50am 01/06/09 A white male has been disturbed attempting to force a window of a holiday villa, he ran off with three other white males who were on bicycles. The male is described as about 5 foot tall and in his mid to late teens.

BURGLARY: Between 3.45am and 4am 01/06/09 Offenders have gained entry to a holiday villa and stolen cash, two Nintendo DSs, a PSP, an MP4 player and a mobile phone. The phone was later found discarded in Thetford.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 8pm 31/05/09 and 8.30am 01/06/09 A mans red Carrera Vulcan mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 10pm 30/05/09 and 9.15am 31/05/09 A mans silver Specialized mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 9pm 30/05/09 and 9am 31/05/09 A mans black Trek mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

 

30th May 2009

BURGLARY: Between 12.30am and 8am 30/05/09 Offenders have broken into a holiday villa by forcing a door and stolen cash, three Nintendo DSs, a wallet and a mobile phone.

BURGLARY: Between 2am and 4am 30/05/09 Offenders have gained entry to a holiday villa and stolen three mobile phones, two Nintendo DSs, a PSP and games.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 7pm 29/05/09 and 10am 30/05/09 A boys green and grey Raleigh mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 8pm and 10.30pm 29/05/09 A mans grey Trek mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 10.30pm 29/05/09 and 8am 30/05/09 A man silver DMR mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 7.30pm and 9.30pm 29/05/09 A mans silver and blue Concept racing bike has been stolen from a cycle park.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 7.45pm and 11.15pm 23/05/09 A mans red Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike has been stolen from a bike park where it had been left secure.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 10.15pm 21/05/09 and 7.30am 22/05/09 A mans silver Giant D2C4 mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa where it had been left secure.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLE: Between 9pm 21/05/09 and 7.45am 22/05/09 A mans silver Giant XTC3-5 mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa where it had been left secure.

THEFT OF PEDAL CYCLES: Between 8pm 21/05/09 and 7.45am 22/05/09 A mans silver Specialized Hardrock mountain bike and a ladies purple Specialized Hardrock mountain bike have been stolen from outside a villa where they had been left secure.
