Factory Unit Destroyed By Fire

A factory unit on an industrial estate in Brandon has been completely gutted by fire.

 

At 19.04 on Monday 23rd November, fire crews from Brandon, Bury St. Edmunds, Thetford, Mildenhall, Haverhill and Methwold were called to the premises on Putney Close.

 

The crews from Suffolk and Norfolk Fire Service worked until 20.41 to extinguish the blaze.

 

Suffolk Police have told BrandonSuffolk.com that five cars inside the building were damaged.

 

They also informed us that a suspicious silver Ford Mondeo was seen nearby at the time, and Police are asking anyone with any information to call DC Andrea French at Mildenhall CID on 01284 774100.

 

Scenes of crime officers from Suffolk Police and fire investigators from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were on scene throughout the day on Tuesday 24th November and the incident is being treated as arson.
