Figures obtained by BrandonSuffolk.com from Suffolk Police under the Freedom of Information Act, show that total crime in Brandon for the first half of 2010 is down on the same total for 2009. It shows that the number of crimes for January to June 2010 totalled just 298, compared to 415 in 2009.
These figures show that over the two periods, the crime level in Brandon fell by over 25%.
