The Brandon Heritage Centre is a small museum housed in the town’s former fire station, which was modified in the 1990s. The Fire Station is now in a purpose built building opposite the Heritage Centre.
The museum tells the story of Brandon from the Stone Age through to the present day. It has permanent displays on a variety of topics, including flint knapping, the fur trade, farming, forestry, and wartime history. The museum also has temporary exhibitions that change on a regular basis.
The Brandon Heritage Centre is a great place to learn about the history of Brandon and is free to visit.
