A man was arrested by police in Brandon on Friday afternoon on suspicion of firearms offences.
Police received a report at around 1.20pm on Friday 12th March of a male leaving a property with an air pistol and a knife.
Following a search of the area by officers from the Roads and Armed Policing Team a 33 year old man was located and arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police investigation centre for questioning and was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries
