Witness appeal after teenager hit by motorcycle

Police are appealing for witnesses or dash-cam footage after a teenager was hit by a motorcycle in Brandon this afternoon.

Emergency services were called just before 3.20pm today, Wednesday 12th May, to reports of a road traffic collision on London Road near Tesco.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police confirmed the collision involved a teenage girl pedestrian and a motorcycle.

The girl has been taken to hospital with neck pain but is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.

The road was partially blocked for almost two hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Witnesses or anybody with any relevant dash-cam footage are asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference CAD 229 of today.
