Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Brandon last week.
The incident took place on Thursday 18th November at around 5.30pm on the B1106 Bury Road near to the junction with George Street.
Officers were called to the scene of a collision involving a Black Nissan Qashqai and a five year old girl who was a pedestrian.
Police, ambulance and the air ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed for several hours whilst initial investigations took place.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital from hospital for treatment but has now returned home.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicle moments before the collision or anyone with dash cam footage of the collision.
