Man taken to hospital after hit and run incident

Police are appealing for information after a man was injured in a hit and run collision in Brandon.

The man, in his 50s, was found lying in the road at around 11.30pm on 23rd July in Thetford Road, close to Knappers Way.

It is believed he was hit by a car which failed to stop. He got up but fell again outside a house.

He was later taken to Addenbrookes Hospital suffering from a brain bleed and a broken wrist.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any dashcam or doorbell footage covering the period between 11.25pm and 11.50pm is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting CAD reference 28072022 โ€“ 163.
