One person was arrested and two dogs seized following an incident on an industrial estate in Brandon yesterday.
Police were called to reports of two dogs off their leads, believed to be of Kangal breed, in the Twickenham Avenue area at around 8.40am on Thursday 15th February.
It resulted in a male in his 60s receiving a bite on the hand and another smaller dog was also bitten.
A male aged in his 20s was arrested under an offence of the dangerous dog act and taken into police custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
He was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The two dogs have been seized by police.
