A driver has been pursued by police from Brandon to Lakenheath after he failed to stop for a routine document check.
Officers made a request for a vehicle to stop for the document check in Brandon at around 11.20am today, Friday 26th February.
The vehicle subsequently failed to stop for police and officers pursued the vehicle to Eriswell Drive in Lakenheath.
A roadside drugs test came back positive for cannabis and the 33 year old driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, failing to stop for the police and having no licence or insurance.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
